More and more casting directors in Hollywood are becoming producers on the shows that they cast, so as to have more of a say about the talent directions that a program goes in. For Victoria Huff, this dual role came finally in 2007 on the family drama "7th Heaven." Before reaching this plateau, Huff helped cast a variety of feature films and other TV shows, working for example with Paul Newman on his 1984 directorial effort "Harry and Son." In the mid-1980s, Huff was an integral part of the zeitgeist prime-time soap opera "Dynasty" and its spinoff, "The Colbys." It pays to get into the good graces of someone like Aaron Spelling, producer of those two programs. Huff later worked again for the legendary actor-turned-mogul, first on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and later on "Charmed." In between her Spelling work, Huff has also helped shape the cast of NBC science-fiction yarn "SeaQuest 2032" and the supporting players for Kirstie Alley's reality skein "Fat Actress."
